Search Results: why is he suddenly working out

I ask this because my mom has stage four colon cancer that she's had for about 2.5 years now. She recently got a test back basically saying her current chemo isn't working, and she has tumors that have spread. She's had a couple major surgeries, but she can't have any now that there are so many spots.

It's stressful. It's confusing. Some days I wake up as if nothing's really wrong, and that she's fine. Then other times I realize the severity of it all, and I try to think of what it'll be like once she's gone. It's hard to process, because she was supposed to have grand kids, and now she won't. She was supposed to see her kids get married, and now she won't.

Sometimes I wonder how it would feel if she just had a heart attack or something, and then was gone. I really don't know which would be more painful, because knowing she has *maybe* a year left just makes me feel like sh*t every single day.

What makes me feel the absolute worst is knowing that she's married to a total arrogant, narcissistic prick, who has cheated on her for years. Knowing this situation, it's part of why I question an existence of a God. Knowing I'll be stuck with such a sorry excuse for a dad for who knows how many years.

Sorry for ranting and for making you play psychologist. That's supposed to be MY job.
