It intrigues me, I get told by a lot of foreign people that they love the British accent but I don't know why they would love it, so I'm interested in knowing if there are any accents that you find attractive.

I personally find the Irish accent to be rather cute, not a turn on but I find it somewhat attractive :)

My mom has been living here for almost 30 years, and Americans STILL treat her like an immigrant. Even me, I was born here but have been called, "That foreign kid." Don't get wrong, I'm proud of my Polishness, but I'm an American first. Pollacks treat me like an "American pretending to be Polish" and Americans treat me like, "That Polish kid."
This Mexican girl in my class said, "A teacher once asked me when I came to the U. S., and I was like, I was born in California."
Another "Iraqi" girl (she had an American accent), got offended when a teacher was asking her about Iraqi culture and when she came here.
Another Mexican girl got offended when I told her she had an accent and asked her if she's from another country.
I thought it was stupid at first, but the more I think about it, I start to see why that's seen as offensive.
I also watched documentary and this Punjabi Sikh said, "I keep being told I don't look like an American. What exactly does an "American" look like?"

My mom says this is the reason why immigrants form their own neighborhoods and only hang out with each other, and bring over family members, because Americans don't accept them and don't consider them Americans.

My mom said only MY kids will finally be accepted as Americans.

Would you agree with this?
