Ok... I don't want to sound overly attached nor an evil-gf but this happened...

For few years me and my friends were planning this week-long trip with camping and lots of fun. So the day has finally come, everyone's ready... And I got ill. I had temperature, I couldn't speak and my head felt dizzy, and then I didn't know whether it's a simple fever or a serious infection.

Anyways. It was obvious that I couldn't go and I was super sad. However, my boyfriend, who also was going there, simply wished me luck and went to a trip the very next day.

It's ok, I didn't get that mad... but I myself would have stayed... I couldn't get out of bed for 3 days and even now I'm recovering.

So, do you think, him going to the trip instead of nursing me (much selfish such a b*tch) is OK behavior in relationships?

I want to go to Yellowstone with my boyfriend before our senior year (this will be after the government is working again, so ignore that nonsense about the parks being closed). I'm trying to figure out which will be the cheapest and the best.

My research:

Rental car:

$500 in gas

$200 for the rental car

Total: $700

Perks: No other booking, makes it an actual roadtrip

Greyhound:

$600 round trip tickets

$200 for the rental car

$100 for gas

Total: $900

Perks: The worst option, probably just best in case the cost of flights go up.

Airplane:

$500 for the flight (round trip)

$200 for the rental car

$100 for gas

Total: $800

Perks: No driving for 30 hours.

I rounded up for these and assume that gas would be like $4 a gallon. We have to rent a car, so it just depends on if we would drive there or get there another way. There will also be the cost of food and camping. I currently have no idea how much camping will cost per night (government shutdown means park sites about camping are down) but I assume it will be somewhere around $200. My boyfriend and I would split everything down the middle, so going with the rental (the cheapest) it'd be about $500 each.

Any of you ever done something like this? Care to share the experience? This isn't going to happen for two summers, so I have some time to plan. I just like planning things way in advance so I have plenty of time to save up and get all ready.

so, because I went completely crazy and needy towards the end of my boyfriend and I's relationship, I broke it off. we had been planning with friends to go camping for a long time, and due to the self centered-ness and just not thinking, I spent my energy chasing HIM around and didn't say anything to my friends about the camping trip, which was rude, I was apart of the planning too. well, one friend eventually unfriended me, and the other and I don't speak anymore. and the ex boyfriend wants nothing to do with me- after we broke up, he just said I wasn't going and just went by himself. so I was just pouting alone. now that I've gotten some help, I apologized to the ex boyfriend, who still ignores me, and was thinking of telling the friends I'm sorry for being a brat and though it's been blown over for a while now, I don't want them to think I dislike them or anything, and I was wrong for leaving them hanging. is it a lost cause or should I say something? they're close to my ex, so I know if I say something, they'll tell him, and he already thinks I'm annoying.
