Here's how it works: evidence of a rape tends to not last more than a few days. Therefore, any non-violent rape that would have allegedly taken place must be addressed to law enforcement before 96 hours are up, or else it must be treated like it didn't happen.

In every other type of crime case, save for environmental ones, you have to prove the accused did it - or they're just your neighbor. For some reason, rape cases are emotion-based cluster-f*ks of drivel, rather than evidence-driven investigations and trials.

The Kavanaugh circus Feinstein created is proof on a national scale that something needs to be done. It's unacceptable to ruin someone's life, just because they wouldn't give you something you weren't entitled to in the first place.

My parents admitted to lying to get me admitted to a mental hospital against my will when I was a teenager when I was suffering from a bout of depression (and it only made it worse). They said it was because when my sister was acting up when she was a teen they tried to get her admitted to a mental hospital but she wasn't and the next day she killed herself. I heard that lying to get someone committed was illegal so I was considering pressing charges against them.
