Search Results: smoking hot or cute

For the sake of argument lets say you put a profile on match.com, along with your 5 best photos. If the majority of the people who contacted you, were considered in your opinion a 3 or 4 on the scale of attractiveness, would it be logical to assume that you are probably around a 4, give or take a point?

Reason I ask is because in my experience of being on match for one year...I've rarely been emailed or winked at by girls that made me say WOW! She's smoking hot! Now, I've contacted some very attractive women, and we've went a out a few times.

Most of the time my response is either a "no, but hell no"...or "she's alright", to "she's kinda cute."

Personally I think I'm a 5-6 from the neck up, and a 8-10 from the neck down. I'm not looking for a super model by no means. An upper 6 to an 8 would be fine by me. Seems like I'm getting contacted by a lot of women I'd consider to be 3-5's. This worries me. Making me think the only women that find me physically attractive are those that hurt me to look at.

BTW, I'm not so shallow to think that looks and is all that matter, or that attraction is looks alone.
