The title says it all. So ever had that awkward moment where you're trying to be funny and the person you're with just tells you, "you're not funny" or "stop"? I've had it MANY times. Mainly when I have nothing to say and am just trying to kill time by maybe blurting out something funny. Like with this friend of mine, while we were playing video games, I was bored, so I just started talking gibberish in a really weird voice, trying to be funny. And then all I get from her is a, "can you please like stop?". And then I feel like a piece of crap for a couple of seconds (because I was trying to be funny but just came up as idiotic and annoying) and just say "ok" and then there's a REALLY awkward silence. So can anyone else relate?

Okay, so I can't call myself a gamer but I do appreciate the artistic value of video games and love watching gameplay... favorite strong female character out of three I really like and can only seem to remember right now? Just for fun, I'm bored. Normally I'd get annoyed at suggestions for who I've missed, but feel free to share.

There's this woman at my College and she's 14/15 years older than me. Several times she's annoyed me.
Firstly- she asked me how my mother died I replied with 'I'm not sure'. Most people would get the hint that I don't want to talk about it. When I had a drink she asked me again, I told her. My sober self didn't want to tell her and she should have left it. Talking about my mums death puts me in a really bad mood.
Secondly- she has a 'Nick name' and when I've had a drink sometimes I cannot pronounce the word correctly. I called her by her first name and she went crazy at me, she was drunk. At one point I thought she was going to attack me. Her first name is on her birth certificate therefore I shall call her by that.
Thirdly- we was talking once and I was like 'I feel like you've got a problem with me, please just be honest with me' and she replied with 'I don't have a problem with you I just sometimes don't like your language'. Yes I sometimes swear but she uses it more than me, she's so hypocritical.
Fourthly- once she attempted to have a go at me because I was talking about people I'm dating or people who I like etc. Later that day she kind of apologised and said its because she's not getting any. then she tried asking do I sleep with everyone I like, it offended me
There is a lot more but I don't want to bore you. I'm not scared of her but I feel intimidated by her most of the time. I'm 22 (21 at the time), of course I'm going to talk about dating people and I'm going to swear etc.
I found out during exams that she was going to the toilet to look at her notes, it's classified as cheating. I was thinking of lagging on her and then maybe she'll get into trouble and i won't see her again.
I'm not usually like this but Im at college to get my degree and to enjoy the college life; not for someone to be intimidating.
do you think I should lag on her?
