I know for a fact that a manager in my department is badmouthing me behind my back, specifically to my own boss. I am a few months into the job and doing very well, I have gotten positive feedback and have built a network within the company and I think she hates me for it. She has been saying things and dropping little hints to others to give the impression that I'm stupid, that I screw up, and that I can't be trusted to do my job. I feel like she's trying to drive me out of the company.

Should I talk to my boss about what I know she's doing?

My husband and I have been married for two months. I cheated on him about 2 years ago in the early days, and after we talked and I tried leaving him because I knew he never really would forgive me, we decided to stay together and work through it, and he surprised me with a marriage proposal this past summer. We had talked about it, but I didn't know if he was ready. Well, 2 months later almost every time we drink and party and hang out, he constantly brings up divorce and says he's unhappy and depressed, and doesn't really work on our relationship. I've done everything I can to show him I want to build trust and that it's never going to happen again, but I feel it's not working. He will say he loves me and say he wants to be with me forever, and I understand this doesn't go away in a day but he's also running my emotions all over the place. He has agreed to go to counseling, and I hope it helps. Some of the issues behind my actions were because of things he was doing and the majority was just selfishness and emotional shut down on my end.
