I've always thought you were supposed to talk about this stuff with you friends, but she’s also my coworker so that kind of changes things maybe? I was hired over 2 years ago to work at a front desk (receptionist) with her. It was mostly great, and I thought we were friends. I went to her wedding a month ago. Well, lately I’ve been showing a little ambition and trying to get a better job since I’m sick of answering phones and want an actual career for myself. I was talking to her about it, and I mentioned that I have a college degree that I’m not using at all. she doesn’t have one, but I didn’t think that would make her angry. But she responded that a lot of baristas and waiters have college degrees, so I should just be happy with where im at. But a week ago, I finally did it. I got promoted at our company, in a new role. She was on vacation when it happened, but I told her when she came back. She made it all about her, telling everyone at work that I’m “leaving her”.. and she asked me how much more money I’m making. She didn’t say congrats or anything, and she’s been acting somewhat cold towards me. I’ve been really excited and walking on cloud nine, and people have been coming up to say congrats so I’ve been talking about my new job in front of her. I don’t mean to brag, but I’ve been acting really happy and proud. but I feel like it’s making things worse. She seems so annoyed by me now. And everytime someone comes up to talk about my new job, she shifts the conversation to herself and just talks about how she has to find someone else to work up there with her.

I wonder if I’ve messed up by talking about the interviews I went on, my college degree and the new job.. maybe I should just stop talking about that stuff with her? Is it my fault?

This guy I'm friends with (Adam) and I, have been acting like we're in a relationship. The farthest we've taken it is still only a very heated, very long makeout session. However we're definitely acting like more than friends, which is why I classified us as "friends with benefits."

Unfortunately because of his parents he has issues with relationships and has said to me he "isn't big into them [relationships]." But recently a friend of his told me Adam thought I was seeing someone else and that's why he'd been acting strange/distant after we kissed... Turns out the guy he thought I was seeing was my gay best friend... But why would Adam care that I'm with someone else if he only wants a friend with benefits? After his friend cleared things up, apparently Adam said "okay good" and was relieved I was only with him.

So there's this one guy. We used to be close. But at some point he said that he idol me anf i said me too. But then we dont seem to go well for a year and a half. So then, the next year he keeps on calling me with a nickname he made himself. So im used to it. The following years, we suddenly gets closer and act like we have a thing on each other but one day, when we walked together after school, it feels really awkward. Then i realized that I've fallen for him. But i just keep it a secret. But he knows that i have a crush on someone else and he got a crush on someone else too! But he somehow acting weird like he actually like me too but im not sure. Does he like me? Should i tell him that I've fallen for him already?
