On a question I asked earlier I was told that I did not have an hourglass figure but pear because my bust was not exactly equal to my hips (39-25-40).

I personally feel that the requirements of an hourglass are:

1) That the woman must have a waist at least 12 inches less than her hips

2) That the woman's hip and bust measurements must be within 2-3 inches of one another.

Sofia Vergara (picture here: link ) is a good example of this (measurements 37-28-39).

What's your personal definition of the shape?

I'm about 5'5 and weighs around 52-53 kg. And my breasts are small. However I have been called sexy and attractive the other time, I'm not sure why maybe because I have an hourglass figure? Which confuses me cause apparently society defines "sexy" as girls with big ass or breast. What are your definitions though? Curvy women? Big boobs?
