When I was 16 my parents got a divorce. My mom had another guy and left my father for him. That guy ended up being a psycho (she met him online). My father had been a drug addict and my mother was not and she couldn't take it anymore. She took me with her to go live with this strange man. After they broke up my mom started to slut around hooking up with guys half her age and various people. She started to brag about all the guys she'd get. I would get upset because who wants to hear about their mom screwing guys? Anyways, she eventually tamed down and I knew she was seeing someone. She wouldn't say who for the longest time. I suspected it was her best guy friend. It turned out to be my uncle. Yes, my uncle. They're step brother and sister but grew up in the same house together and had always called each other brother and sister. He had always been my uncle. He had a wife and cheated on her every chance he got. My mom some how thought he wouldn't cheat on her. Well, eventually it quit (long story short). And now she has a different boyfriend. She still doesn't understand that it's incredibly screwed up that she tried to get with her brother. Her argument is that there isn't any blood. She would talk to him on the phone and say that he's her brother! If you call someone your brother and for 40 years feel like they're your brother then there's no need to have blood in the mix! You are freaking brother and sister! Since this whole incident I haven't been able to look at my mom the same. It's scarred me for life and I'm not sure if I'll ever get over it. I've never told anyone about this so my question is, is it screwed up that she almost got with her step brother?

So I met him at college this September and we got really close. Like hanging out nearly every day, sleepovers, always going out to parties together, texting all the time. It was great. However since just before Christmas he's been a little more distant, perhaps because he's started hooking up with this girl (which I'm cool with, nothing has happened between us and I don't expect it to) but then since after Christmas he keeps just messaging me and ignoring my replies... On text, Facebook, snapchat, Twitter... He starts a convo then ignores me! Should I say something about this, or be cool and let it slide? Why might he be acting like this?

My best guy friend and I are I guess flirty but not really but everyone says we should be dating or that we will get married someday. That or they say I'm like his mother. Is there no way that guys and girls can be friends without these ideas?

Last April, I tried dating my best guy friend. All of our friends are really close. Like this guy is my best friends brother's best friend. There about a group of 14 of us boys and girls. More boys though. In May he panicked and told me that he had feelings for both my best friend and me. He went far into depth with his feelings, and even talked to her about trying to see if they could be a couple. She told him no and was secretly hooking up with our other best friend for the past 3 years. Over the past months this boy has moved away to a city an hour away. We have not been in contact much but, with the holidays he showed up to a few parties. I am over him and forgive him for what happened last May. At a party he asked me if we could talk one on one. I did he cried to me and apologized and told me he losses sleep over the whole situation to this day. He has even said that he gets nervous around my best friend and couldn't have conversations with her like we do. I don't know if the nervousness means he still has feelings for her. He also texted me two days later and told me he still had feelings for me and asked me if he could text me randomly to get his mind off of things when he is busy at work. This morning he wished me a happy new year and just wants me to be happy. I am wondering if I should give it another shot. In a year and a half I also plan on moving to the city that he is in and my best friend won't be living there so she won't be around. My trust was a little shattered with him but I can see myself by then having it back. Do you think he still has feelings for her? He is the only person that I have fell madly in love with. I have not met anyone else that makes me feel like when I'm with him.
