So me and this girl met on a dating app. We are both shy so we never called anything a date rather than it being a meet up. We met up and we clicked everything went so well. But it felt like a date when it didn't have an official name. The thing is I asked advice from my mom (ikr lol) she told me not everything has to have a label. My mom and dad were always going out with each other and never called anything a date and both my parents said it happened naturally. Like they just held hands and bam they were a couple. Now my fear for never calling anything a date is that the other person won't know your intentions even when it's obvious and they'll end up friendzoning me. So do I do what I think I should do? set up a date and actually tell her it's a date or should we just keep hanging out together and then wait till it happens naturally?

I know quite a lot about her already as she does to me (including personal experiences etc) We have tons of inside words and jokes that obviously only us two know. We have nicknames for each other. We practically almost act like a couple but never did any couple things. Like holding hands or kissing, etc.

So I started talking to this girl about 3 weeks ago. Monday I told asked her if she likes me and whatever and she really didn’t give me an answer. She asked me saying why I think she likes me? I said because she keeps calling me love and sweetie. She said she’d stop. Then comes Tuesday and I apologize to her about Monday and say that I feel like the friendship is awkward. She said she doesn’t feel that way and that I’m still her hammy (nickname she fans up for me from my name. Mohammad=Hammy). Like we’re not dating so I’m not hers lol.

I've known this girl for about a year, weve been friends for about 4 months. We started actually dating about a week ago (i know "a week, really anonymous!") but i have really strong feelings for this girl, we have a lot more in common than i thought. (she actually talked to me about things that happened during her childhood with school and everything and family and i could totally relate) and im just feeling my heart jump out of my chest when we kiss and I've always had an amazing time with her.

Also i wanted to specifically ask females if you like it when guys tease you with weird nicknames and grin when we see you.

He nicknamed you that as you went to a comic event he went to and you haven’t told anyone you liked it but you deny you like it to him.

He he also told you he can interpret his rules however he likes (referring to a different rule) but weeks earlier he told you about a rule he keeps friends as friends only.

He also gently pushed you when you agreed to quickly grab a table in a bar before someone else takes it.
