Sure, I am still young, well sort of. But realize that I have never called a girl my girlfriend all throughout my middle school, high school, college-age years, and beyond, except for a week, but it was awkward and she turned into a trangender dude a few years later.

Moat men and women have had at least a significant other, if not multiple exes and current boyfriend/gfs by now.

Fuck, even a lot of people are getting engaged and married at my age, yet I have never had an actual girlfriend. One one my good friends is already married by age 21.

My biggest set back is that I cannot get over a woman's romantic past, especially relationships she formed when she was younger. I will always stick by that and for reasons I believe are good.

In addition, I am an Aspie and still live at home and on disability. I am probably a late bloomer in maturity and many other aspects of life too.

I've been talking to this girl I worked with a few years ago. She recently got out of a relationship and we have been talking a bit. she's sent me long messages telling me about what happened and we've talked a bit, and talked about getting together a few weeks later.

She's regularly taken a few days to respond every few messages. She says she's been overwhelmed at work, lots of OT and people quitting and getting fired. She says she's been too exhausted to hold conversations. Plus she hasn't been active on Facebook either when she usually was.

She said she still wanted to get together and she's just been having too much going on at work right now.

I talked to her this morning cause it was her birthday, and she told me what she was doing. She said her friend was bringing her food and he and her were gonna watch a movie and that would be it.

She then asked me about some stuff and it's been half the day so far and nothing.

Normally, I'd feel like it's an excuse, but with the pandemic going on, I don't know. But then she told me about the guy who's coming to hang out with her.

She still asks questions and engages the conversation, but I'm not sure anymore.
