You should know, I am questioning my gender identity and belive I am Androgynous. And I want to look a little more masculine.

Now, my mother doesn't agree with what I want to do with my hair. I wanted to cut it short or cut off my spilt ends but my mom wants me to keep them in. :/

Now that I'm 18 I kinda wanted to cut my hair a little, well wear it short, but my mom says it's going to look bad, woman are not supposed to cut their hair and she thinks short hair won't suit me. Mind you, she doesn't want me to wear skirts, she won't allow me to wear dresses, and always buys me jeans and sweat pants. If I could choose how to dress I would wear a skirt at least once a week. She always wants my hair in braids and I wanted to try something different with my hair. I mean, everybody thinks it's a good idea except her. But I do have enough money to get my own hair done. Should I just go ahead and get this haircut or do I just get braids or a wig like my mother wants? I'm 18 years old. I don't see why me wanting a haircut is a big deal. Hair grows back. I'm not hurting anything. :/

I had a bob in April and decided to grow my hair out to waist-length, but I'm thinking of maybe getting a change for Summer (I was thinking maybe just above the shoulders). Should I be patient and grow my hair out, cut my hair or keep it at its current length? Other suggestions are also welcome!

Hello. This is a personal question, I don't pretend anything besides getting opinions on if I should cut my hair or not. Plus, I'd like to see how many people prefer long hair over short/medium sized ones. Be free to comment.
