There was a guy that I really liked, and I found out he liked me because I heard him telling someone else he did. At the beginning of the first semester we talked a lot, but then we stopped because I tried pushing him away because I thought he didn't really like me and was treating me like a joke, and he was hurt. So it became awkward talking to each other and then we stopped talking. Lately I've been stressing out about talking to him, and then when I finally get the courage to talk to him, I saw him talkingwith another girl. This made me really angry because I was over reacting and I thought he was flirting so I basically ran out of class in tears, I looked so stupid. The next class I had with him I heard him talking to his friend about how I seemed mad and he just stared at me. He continued talking to the girl and I realized it was just casual conversation. Okay, so this guy at my school and I have this sort of flirtationship going on. He's in at least one of my classes every day of the week. During classes he...

- Somehow we always seem to sit right next to each other. One time he even put his chair in between mine & another guys despite the fact that there wasn’t all that much room & he could have sat on a different side of the table.
- We also bump feet/legs a lot under the table. Neither of us apologize about it (if I hit someone w/my foot I usually do apologize. Everyone I know usually apologizes to me too if they hit my foot).
- We are always either making fun of each other, being sarcastic with on another or bonding over something we both really like. Sometimes he'll even compliment me on things like my scarves (which I make myself) & my sweater/shirt.
- He told me about this place that he volunteers at and after I expressed my interest in it, he told me that if I wanted to, I could tag along with him.

Today in class we were kind of having a flirty banter (to me, I thought I was just joking around with him in a friendly way) and I said something to him and then a mutual friend of ours (a guy) said "Why don't you guys just date already?" He said this in front of my teacher and another student (our classes consist of like 4 people). While I stated that I didn't like him like that, he stated that he was not interested in dating at the time. This is not the first time that an incident like this has happened. A friend of mine (guy) once overheard me and this guy talking about the volunteer thing he invited me to and he told me he would text me when it got closer to the event so I didn’t forget. My guy friend then asked if we were going on a date. We both said no, and somewhat awkwardly moved on from the subject.

Do you think he might like me? Also, do you think there was a reason he didn't just outright say that he wasn't into me? I'm a natural flirt so I never really know when I'm flirting sometimes.
