So I’ve done it all, one night stands, constant hook ups, waited until the third or fifth date. Not have sex until after a couple of months. But none seem to workout... considering that I’m still single. I think I’m a decent looking girl and I’m very smart (glad guys nowadays find this attractive though some are still intimidated by it) but for the life of me I haven’t been able to find a boyfriend after 2.5 years. I’m not sure if it has to do with the sex, those that I had sex with after the first/few dates didn’t stay but neither did the ones I had sex with after a while. So when is the right time. I’ve gotten all kind of opinions from guys on this topic, some day don’t do it on the first day, guys like the chase other say it doesn’t matter... but it does.

Ill break it down in points
- went on two dates with him 6 months apart
- he gave me multiple chances throughout the couple years I've known him
- super laid back guy
- we hardly have anything in common
- he hooked up with another girl shortly after our first date
- He paid the first time and then i paid the second time and got no thank you
- he was on his phone the two dates we were on
- we both really liked each other/ wanted to give things a chance
-was gonna wait until i was comfortable for sex
- we both wanted a relationship and were a "couple" for not that long
-He remembered a bit more details about me than i did about him

Recently this guy and I made things "official" , we had a bit of history with each other.. i couldnt trust him after our first date months ago because he shortly after our date he hooked up with a girl.. but after many long talks were good now. I asked my friend to text him (he doesn't know her and what she looks like) to see if he would hook up and he told her " i don't hook up" and he would pass on hooking up wih her if he changed his mind.
