They claim that when we "feel sorry", or "depress" after a breakup, its just another form of self attack. A regret because we didn't get to have the last word or weren't smart enough to act undetected. Not that we actually empathise with the man, and will easily move on to the next one. And when we apologise/explain ourselves to the man is just to manipulate him into guilt and show him how HE was the one that made us do it because of his X lacks or his Y mistakes. (look what you made me do, look what you made me do... .)

For instance I was with a guy who complained about the way I shaved my vagina, subliminally told me to lose weight (though I'm a healthy normal weight) and made comments about my skin not being smooth enough for his likings. He also expected me to act like his wife and mother. After all of that I decided to cheat on him first then break up with him. I can't explain the satisfaction I got from fucking someone else who was more into me and actually accepted me for me.
