Im confused about this
So me and my ex boyfriend broke up a month ago
But we decided to remain "friends"
I went out with him to the movies last night
He bought the tickets and I bought the snacks (we always do this even when we were still together as a couple)
He was very playful in the cinema - we watched horror movie so he would tease me everytime I jumped or screamed and he would talk to me at times during the movie
After the movie, we went to the supermarket because he wanted to get food to cook at home the next day
I bought few things as well for myself
Then we were in the queue and he said "put your things with mine, ill pay for yours too"
isn't this what couples do? Not friends?
He used to do that when we were still together
After that, he was going to drop me home but i told him to drop me off at my friends place
So he dropped me off there
And then he asked "whos going to drop you home?"
And i said "my friend drives so she will drop me home"
And then he said "ok"
Then today he texted me "did u get home safe?"
And i replied "yeh i did"
Why would he text me this?
He knows my friend already
Does this mean he genuinely cares about me?
If he didn't have romantic feelings for me anymore, would he still do these things?

So me and my ex boyfriend broke up 3 weeks ago and we were together for 1 and a half years
Its both our longest relationship
He wanted to focus on pursuing his dream job so he can't give me 100% commitment, time and attention anymore so he had to let me go
But he still wants to remain friends
We didn't talk much during the first week of the break up other than him messaging me to apologize to me
He asked me out on valentines day to the movies and for dinner and he also bought me bouquet of flowers that day
Ever since that day, he has been contacting me more often via facebook messaging
Then yesterday night, he asked me if he could call me and I said "yeah" coz I thought he had something important to tell me
So he called me straight away
And then we had a 20 minute conversation
He was asking how Im doing, my job, my weekend plans, what I've been upto
And then he was talking about his job and about the career he's pursuing right now and his future plans about it
And then he kept asking me "have u been on going dates? Tell me. I dont care"
And I would just try to avoid that topic because I have been going on dates but Im not gonna tell him that
And then he kept asking me "tell me how many dates youve been on? Are u going on dates this weekend? Just tell me.. i dont care. And I know how you are. you're not like me. All I do is go to work, come home, eat, sleep and then gym and then home again. I know you go out everyday. But if u are going on dates, good luck. Hope u find a guy that can deal with your craziness"
Like why does he keep asking me if im going on dates?
If he doesn't care, then why keep asking and saying all of this?
And why would he randomly want to call me? He wants to see how im doing?
I still have feelings for him and dont wanna lose him but im just frustrated on what he wants!
Do you guys think he lost romantic feelings for me?
Does he really not care that im dating other guys/going on dates?

I know this guy almost three weeks already and he has been very close to me. We are very sweet and close with each other. Until it reaches to the point that I become comfortable when he said "He is not ready to have a relationship with any girl.." He said he likes me, create good memories , make love with but he don't want to be my boyfriend.

And so I confronted him a while ago of everything saying. I am not an easy girl. I don't want to just fuck for just a temporary happiness. I am not a slut and decent woman. I think I will only end up myself hurt. You don't value me as a woman. And he replied with a mad message , saying I like you but after this drama I lose interest in you. how can u say I don't value you when I want to be with you. I could have shared a lot to you. I already told you I am not ready to have a relationship. I can't be your boyfriend but we can be close with each other. But u have been disrespectful to me of not listening to my words and keeping repeating this complains to me. He said good bye and don't want to talk to me again.

It it makes me really hurt. I thought everything would be fine after I open my feelings towards him but if only get worse and now he don't want me anymore. Well it's really painful because I know I already love him but he only leave me. Did I make a right decision of opening my feelings?
