As a 33yo, my most polar age gaps dating experiences both happened within the past 12 months. The first was close to 12 months ago, and she was an 18yo that I met on a train and started talking to. Although we found each other interesting (and lots of fun in bed), ultimately we were at vastly different places in life wanting different things, so it was fairly short lived.

The second was with a 42yo woman (divorcee) with kids that i met when she came into my workplace one day. This was an unbelievably great and enriching experience for me (in and out of the bedroom), but was also short lived, and she was moving quite some distance away (and i think she doubted my motives (what would a young single guy really want from a single mum with 2 kids)).

Just curious about other peoples experiences, how old were you, how old were they, and the hurdles you encountered?
