Do you feel that anything you've ever done would come back to haunt you if you tried to get elected to - well, anything?

Nothing sets an individual up for having all their dirty laundry publicly aired than when they try to get elected to something. It seems that there are always haters no matter who the candidate is. And if someone's running that someone else doesn't like, isn't it odd how everyone and their dog suddenly turns into a private investigator? Or how sources show up magically? Or how suddenly, everyone cares. Even if it's not even a tenth as scandalous as anything someone else you know has ever done?

My girlfriend and I probably would not run for anything, ever. She is a lot of fun to talk to, but her fantasies she shares over the phone would be easy NSA fodder.

I also agree with a lot of family values groups and what they have to say, as they make a lot of valid points. But I haven't always championed their message in my own life. As such, I'm convinced someone would go after my loved ones and hurt them.

Is there any reason like that you would never want to get into politics?
