There is a girl that I had a crush on since high school, last year I moved back to my hometown, I met this girl again at a party. I am living with my cousin and two of our childhood friends. When I first moved back last year, she was "talking" to another one of my friends, so even though I wanted so bad to get her to go on a date with me, I left her alone, for my friend. Shortly after my move, they stopped talking, he made her cry, it was a big mess, so I thought it best to leave her alone for a while you know.

after I moved into our house from my parents, I had the thought to try to land a date with her again. Not two days after I had the thought, my cousin brought her home, he was trying to fuck her. That's all he does, never been my style, I enjoy experiencing people, even if it does get messy and sucky whenever relationships end. anyway, so I watched him try to seduce her for about a month. She was making him work for it, I was glad personally because I knew once they do, I won't want that relationship anymore.

Present time -- he called her all kinds of names, on Valentine's night after I drove us all back from partying all night because she still wouldn't give it to him. She cried, called him some stuff, BUT three days later she was on her back in his bed... he hasn't talked to her since.

Sometimes I think girls deserve that treatment whenever they are dumb enough to do stuff like that. If the guy is a big enough dick to force you to drive home drunk, crying your eyes out on Valentine's day, do you really think he is going to be interested in you whenever you give it up, to make him happy, within the week?

I am 20 and have been single my entire life. I have dated a couple of times, but never got passed the first date. Most dates of mine ended up with a text from the girl saying how "it felt more like a friendship". While that is disappointing, I can't and don't want to make anyone love me. It has to come natural!

Ever since I was 15, I really wanted a girlfriend and I still do. I have been desperate and let me tell you, that doesn't help. You need to keep your standards straight (not too high though).
I make it terribly difficult for myself when I start liking a girl. I act like every action I take is CRUCIAL to what she will think of me. I am WAY too cautious and overthink everything. I really need to just relax and see where things go. Yet, this seems to be quite difficult for me.

I have been in love with my now best (female) friend for MONTHS. I knew she wouldn't go for me, but the fantasy remained. Whenever we were talking together and we would get closer, I always wanted more. I wanted to put my arm around her, kiss her. Yet, none of that was meant to be. That hurt like hell. It didn't help that she ended up telling me she was in love with a VERY good friend of mine right when I got over her. All those feelings came rushing back, now with a new one: "why him, not me?". I luckily put that behind me rather quickly

i've been single for almost two years now and I'd love to be in a relationship. However, after having a heart to heart with my mom, I've realized that I'm not in a place where I can be with anyone right now, mentally. I still need time to sort out my feelings.

Lately all of my friends have gotten in relationships and I'm the only one who is single. They run home to visit their boyfriends every chance they get and naturally, I'm put on the back burner. It sucks, and it's awkward but I'm dealing with it.

I feel better about being single now but I still would love to have a boyfriend. No matter what anyone says, there's nothing wrong with that. I'm just being honest with my self about how I feel.

I never had a boyfriend. I used to be sad about it, but now I don't care.
I had a lot of crushes when I was a teenager. Some guys didn't notice me, others weren't attracted to me, others were simply stupid and one was extremely racist.
I meet some guys who were interested in me, but I wasn't interested in them...
My last crush was a good friend of mine. When I realized that I was falling in love with him, he got a girlfriend. He became distant and I couldn't talk to him like before. So, his relationship affected our friendship.
I know I'm silly, but I still believe that I will find the one.

I broke up with my ex over a year ago and spent the last semester of my senior year of college enjoying single life, but now as all my friends are getting serious or settling down I wouldn't mind having one again. I'm crushing hardcore on a guy right now. He is literally everything I have ever wanted and he acts interested and as if he likes me, but his schedule is crazy busy right now so advancing anything is going to be a while. I'm 23 and never been on a date or had a kiss. I did have several crushes throughout my years in school. One dating back to 5th grade actually. But I never got them because one was taken, another didn't like me, another thought I was a joke, and who knows what else they were thinking. I gave up when I turned 21. I don't want a girlfriend anymore. Wanting a girlfriend but not being able to get one always made me feel depressed which ruined other parts of my life. When I decided to just stay single forever my feelings turned around. I'm not sad anymore. I'm back on track with my education and building a career.

I really, really wish I could have a girlfriend and I have wanted one for a year now. I have never had my first kiss yet and I have never had a girl friend in my life. I have always had high respect for girls and it would be nice to have a girl to spend a lot of time with. I get lonely very easily even though I have hundreds of friends. I am at that point in my life where I really, really want a girlfriend and I don't know how much longer I can hold on. I am used to being single but I don't like being single at all. My own best friend is a year younger than me and he already has a girlfriend. We did everything together and we used to go to high school together. I was heart-broken that he got a girl friend and I didn't. I am still searching but I haven't had any luck yet and I have no idea when I will find one. :/

Do I wish I had a boyfriend? Sometimes. But there's more to life than seeking a relationship.

Besides, the current dating pool is atrocious and props to anyone that can find a decent human being to pair up with.

Given this state of affairs, I really don't mind that I'm single a good portion of the time. Dating is horrific anymore and I'd rather just not deal with it and worry about my own life for the time being.

I've never been in an official relationship. Honestly, I have trust issues. Mostly every girl I've been with has been in a relationship with someone else so I've witnessed first hand how girls can act behind someone's back. Very often, I didn't even know they were taken until it was too late. Even the girl that I lost my virginity to was engaged. Didn't know until after the fact.

So now I'm an emotional cripple that can't be in a normal relationship. But I don't have to buy anyone presents for Valentine's day. So I've got that going for me, which is nice.

I guess you can say I was never in a relationship in my adulthood as a child I was in one.  I have had a crush on someone who lives far away from me, close enough.  Yes it seems like when I do have a crush a lot of characteristics prevent me from dating them.  I'm positive about the who thing.  I'll find someone one of these days, I just have a positive outlook on life.  I'm the kind of guy that is ready to settle down, well I was never really much of a party animal, haha.

I've been in one relationship that lasted for a year and a half and ended with us still being friends.
Currently, no, I don't with I had a girlfriend (unless she were my ex, in which case, yes). Now, just having someone sweet to come home to and talk with? I'd like that, but it wouldn't have to be a romantic relationship or anything of the sort.
