This is really long and I'm really sorry, but I'm having a really difficult time right now and if anyone could take the time to read this and give me his/her input that would be so so so awesome. I'm currently a senior in high school and trying to decide between 2 schools, and having a really hard time. The bigger school is the University of Michigan, which is a really good school. But I'm also worried that the academics will be too difficult for me and I'll end up not doing well and spending all of my time studying and have no fun whatsoever. It is also a very competitive school and I'm timid and on the shyer side, and I don't think that would be the best environment for me. Most of the classes are taught by TAs and I've heard that they are hard to understand. I visited the campus a couple months ago and I absolutely loved it, which makes me want to go there. It is also in Ann Arbor, which is an awesome city. But being that I'm shy, I'm worried I'll have a hard time making friends and I'll be really unhappy. People also know UofM as being a good school, and I want to be able to say I go there. The smaller school only has 1500 undergrad students and it is in the middle of nowhere. They have a lot going on on the weekends though, so it would probably be okay. It is known as being a good school, but it isn't as hard to get into, so I would be one of the smarter students there and I would probably be in the honors college. I like the idea of smaller class sizes and professors I can understand. I also like the idea of smaller sororities, so I can be closer to all the girls. However, I am worried that after a couple years I'll be bored. I'm also worried that I will regret not going to Michigan.
