What do guys think about girls who like sports?

I love sports. I love to play them and I love to watch them. I've just always had that competitive spirit in me, but what do guys think about that?

Side note: I am very knowledgable about the sports/teams that I follow and you could probably never guess it when you first meet me because I'm very feminine dressing/acting

i wish I could find a girl like you. I go to about 30 Baseball games a season. I think I've had a girlfriend join me once! It's not like I expect her to go with every game. I'd settle for a girl that didn't have a visceral dislike for any/all sports. I remember having a Girlfriend get super mad when I didn't want to go with her somewhere out of town. The Chargers were in a playoff game that day and that doesn't happen too often.

So to answer you're question. Some guys might actually be intimidated. Most women don't realize the amount of guys that fake interest in sports just to fit in.

Most guys would like an athletic girl & could talk sports.

Reminds me of the time a friend got a skybox for a hockey game. All of the girls except my girlfriend were in the lounge. They could care less. As it turns out so far this was a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Yeah, it's more common than people believe. If you go to the north girls will be pretty knowledgable about basketball, go to the south girls will be more knowledgable about football.

It's really not uncommon or "special"

Like Pickledxtofu said, there are many girls who are into sports. It's not unusual and most guys don't care. I'm a huge football fan and I enjoy discussing it with my female and male friends but it's not anything special.

Knowledge about sports/teams I don't care much

On the other hand playing sports is something I look for in a girl. I am a big fan of girls who are active, I don't think id get along with a girl who just likes to do things that require me sitting all or most of the time.

Nothing wrong with ladies liking sports as a martial artist I have known several women who can kick my ass one can even knock a man out cold by punching him in the gut. Although I have beaten plenty of women in sparing matches who were pretty tough so I guess it evens out the field a little I like sport girls personally.

It wouldn't bother me unless you started inviting yourself when I hung out with friends to watch or play or whatever. I'm bothered by the girls that think they are one of the guys because they really are and couldn't be. As long as you aren't doing that, I really have no opinion about it one way or the other.

I like a girl who is passionate about anything in particular... I like girls who are into sport of course, in saying that I like girls who are very into things that I couldn't be less interested in.
