I've always wanted to give it a try but everytime I found some type of an excuse. Lately, I've been watching more of the sports channel with my dad and he told me he used to do box when he was still in his teens, stopped only because of his friends did. He regrets it now, says it was/is a good stress reliever, makes you think of other things.
Apparently it'd be perfect for me because I could meet new people, especially guys, and move my ass a little bit and learrn useful self-defense tricks if ever needed (hopefully not).
I am no longer as fit as I used to be, but my dad said it'd be okay to give it a try just for fun and that I'd actually get more into shape and get some endurance. Also, my job is a sedentary one : so that's another reason.
So yeah, what do you think about this?
