I've known this guy named Drew for almost two years. We actually work together (that's how we met) and he's been a sweetheart to me & there was chemistry between us from the get go. We had to remain friends at the time because we were both in serious relationships. I broke up with my boyfriend 6 months ago due to many issues. He broke up with his girlfriend 4 months ago for many issues as well. We got closer as friends and our feelings made it to the surface. We really like each other... A LOT but we both don't want relationships right now because we both want a break from the drama relationships can bring and to work on ourselves. I've asked Drew if he has feelings for his ex and he said he does not. The only thing he has is anger towards her because of the crap she put him through. It's the same for me with my ex. He put me through a lot of shit, I was angry at him for a while but now I'm over it.


However, when Drew and I had sex... It was amazing. We held hands during and after. We cuddle afterwards and he doesn't want me to leave. We both have admitted getting attached to eat other. Outside of the bedroom we are basically inseparable. We see each other three times a week (outside of work; he works in a different department so I don't see him anymore at work) we text and call each other every day. We actually go on dates in public with each other. We both know that we like each other. But today... Well first off I have the flu. He actually came by my house and brought me Gatorade, water and soup. I was amazed because no guy has ever done this for me. It was a really sweet gesture and it warmed my heart. It was 10pm and he had to get up early for work tomorrow but he didn't care. He wanted to bring these things to me and didn't want to wait. I live with my dad so he knew sex was not happening and respected that. When he left he gave me a kiss on the forehead because he was worried about catching the flu. So... Does he like me?

If you were in a perfect relationship for a year and you broke up for a stupid reason which was both’s fault. It ended badly as you told him to leave and get an early flight.

After he went home you both regret it and still talked for 3 days about how we’re going to be better next time. After he got quiet, his parents pressured on him and he called it off slowly.

You blocked him because you were hurt even though he asked you not to. He was stressed. After a few months you unblocked him and sent friend request and a message but got nothing in return. He never blocked you, he still follows you on certain app.

What should I do? Should I give it a longer time before coming back or should I just let him reach out now that he knows he’s unblocked. He is a very shy guy, he has trouble getting girls and is very emotional. It took him a year to get over his previous ex.

Ps: we were really attached to each other.
