my boyfriend wants a cat, but i dont because im allergic to them and im kinda scared of them because when i was a really young child, a cat jumped on me from a really really tall shelf, landed on my shoulder, dug its claws into my shoulder and cheek because it got scared or whatever, and now there's obvious scars left from this scenario that happened 14 years ago when i was 8. plus he knows im scared and allergic to cats because he knows i sneeze about 30 times in a row and get sick when a cat is around me, but he keeps telling me "just dont go near it then", so i said "but then that'll be a problem because it won't be much fun for me dodging something that im allergic to... and kinda scared of as well" to him

so what do we do because this is turning into a ridiculous, childish, and immature argument and im really sick of it. do we get a puppy which we both like, get a cat so he's "happy" and im not, not get a pet at all, or settle for another pet (please list)?

because we'd like a pet that isn't locked up in a cage, tank, etc and can just run around the whole house and be happy

Recently he has been mentioning about marriage and his future kids.
For example, he would say: "I dont know how my last name would fit another girl's name. Like yours. Melanie S... if we get married"
by the way he is Indian and when we saw these little indian kids, he would also say: "I hope my children isn't like that. That is why I dont want an Indian wife and instead I want an Asian girl like you. My kids has to be good looking especially the daughter and my son should be tall like me. Hopefully he gets the tall genes from me instead of yours" and starts laughing. And does that mean he thinks Im hot enough to give birth to a good looking kid with him?
And another thing he would say is "you know the Indian traditional clothing? The sari? Well you gotta wear it one day or even on our wedding. You would look amazing"
I dont know if he's being serious about it all? Does this mean he's thinking of future marriage and kids with me? Or just kidding around?

She never hit him, didn't yell at them as much, called them silly little monkeys but said it in an affectionate, loving way. She ticked their feet and was always happy with them. She lowered her expectations on the twins but kept them high on Arthur. She'd punish Arthur for getting a D in math but when the twins were 13 and got Four D's she wouldn't punish or hit them at all.
