I'm Asian and I was born with very light skin color. I got pretty tanned as a child once, which made me have uneven skin tone back then. Now I'm sort of pale again still with some uneven skin tone and I was wondering if I should get tanned again since I'm in college now, I'd like to look attractive.

I consider myself to be average-good looking, prettier with make-up, and beautiful with a bright smile. I'm not short or fat. I know most people don't discriminate but I'm not sure if my skin color creates an invisible barrier between me and others, since I don't really get asked out.

I guess it might have to do with my personality too, since I don't party a lot, I like reading, drawing, painting, dancing, photography, tea, British shows, good music, and occasionally video games. My sorority roommate thought those were ridiculous and laughed at it, so I'm guessing that might be what's separating me and the other people in college.

Okay this is getting off topic haha, so guys and girls, do you think Asians look better tanned?

So this guy and I have been talking for about 3 weeks now and I really like him. He always joked around that he would make me "lift and play video games and watch south park" like we were going to end up dating. On Tuesday, we hung out at the gym and we talked and laughed and whatnot and he hugged me goodbye. I told him I would "text him that night... maybe" as a joke right before I left and he told me that I was texting first. And he ended up texting me first that night saying "you text first" when I didn't text him right away.

The next day we were snapchatting, but we only snapchatted for like 20 minutes and then he didn't answer me. So I texted him that night saying "Hi" at like 8:30 and he read the message an hour later but never answered me. So I texted him "Hi" again the next night and he answered saying he's just been busy because he's been preparing for a bodybuilding competition on Saturday (yesterday, and yes. He is a bodybuilder), but he had enough time to go on instagram and Facebook and post 2 pictures of him and follow some people. Anyways, we texted for like 20 minutes and then he read the message but didn't answer. So yesterday after the competition, he sent a snapchat and I answered him and we snapchatted for a couple hours and then he asked if I wanted to hangout with him. I asked him where we would hangout at 9:30. He responded by saying "I'm driving around to celebrate:(". And then he didn't answer after I responded. And he hasn't answered me all day. I don't want to come off as annoying if he doesn't want to talk to me. I've just had so many thoughts like maybe he doesn't want to annoy me? Or maybe he's waiting for me to text first? Or maybe he's found someone else? What does this all mean? I'm so confused and don't know what to think about all of this. I just want to know without being annoying.

A couple months ago this guy I had met last summer came back into my life as a friend. We began to get romantic but it got difficult because of his busy schedule and how far apart we live. But we video chatted, face timed, etc. We never had a boring conversation, we talked about important things and goals and ambitions. He's very comforting and understanding. Im the only girl in my household besides my mother, and he's the only boy, so we both understand each other well in general. I can be myself in front of him and same with him towards me. He listens to me when I'm mad at him or just upset in general, and he finds a way to help me calm down. We're both very honest, and we value the same things in a relationship. In my past relationship I was cheated on and we were off and on, we argued a lot. This new guy and I always work through our problem which we rarely have, and he can make me laugh when I feel like killing someone. Stupid me, got back together with the ex, and now I'm not happy. After I got into a relationship with someone else I realized what love is supposed to feel like and now I know I'm just not my ex's cup of tea. So I told the good guy that I like about how I felt and he said he understood and he felt the same way. He said he isn't mad and if I'm not happy to just leave. And even if he isn't gonna be romantically involved with me, he'd still be there for me. He knows what I need and he can tell when something isn't right. I just feel like the good guy is who I'm meant to be with. Like my heart and my mind keeps telling me that this is the guy for me. There's not one thing I don't like about him. I even tried making a list when I was angry with him and I still couldn't come up with anything, but for my ex/current boyfriend I came up with 31 things. Is it true love? I've never felt so alive and happy with anyone before. He agrees that the relationship we've developed isn't and won't be like any other that he's had...
