Been dating this guy exclusively for 2 1/2 months now, and a month and a half in I asked what I am to him, and he said we are dating, but he wants to get to know me more, and wants me to fully know him before there are any labels attached. He also said that he is dealing with a lot of things right now and wants to get through that and be able to give me his full attention after it's all done. We text every day, and we usually see each other once a week, maybe two if we're both really busy. Thing is, he's had some bad luck in a lot of shit being messed with in his life rn (he's shared it with me and I can see why he needs time to work on things) and he's a total trooper and nothing is stopping him or bringing him down and he keeps working on solving problems, but I almost feel like the problems won't stop coming and maybe he'll put off making things official for a while. I normally don't care and am really understanding about things, but I just don't want to feel like i'll be waiting for a long time before he says we're official or that he loves me (he shows it through his actions, so I know he cares) and I know these things are just superficial, but it just irks me knowing that we're exclusive, but not official.. I don't know what to feel.
