I met him about two years ago when we both starting working at a new company at the same time. We would hang out after work, hit the gym, everything seemed normal.

The first sign started after we went out and met two women and started dating them. One day he came to my desk upset she hadn't texted back in like an hour or something stupid like that. He was so upset at lunch that he shouted profanity and claimed he was going to punch him out because some guy was "supposed to hold the door for him".

After 3 months dating that woman she dumped him. He kept saying he's gonna make her regret it. She worked in the same building so he purposely dressed up nice, went to her department, talked to everyone but acted like she didn't exist. She walked away crying and he found it hilarious. He has done that kind of thing with pretty much all the women he's dated.

He's also exhibited similar behavior with me. Two weeks ago our boss took us out to dinner and hung out after work, and also had plans to hang out the next evening too. However the next day I was busy working and he got upset because I didn't watch some music video he wanted me to watch. He threw a tantrum and cancelled plans.

I tried to talk to him about it but he says there's nothing wrong with his behavior. I've also tried ignoring him but he will constantly stop by my desk. Just yesterday he stopped by my desk and talked to himself for 15mins about how stupid a coworker is and how he's so much better. I would tell him to leave me alone, but everyone at work really likes him because they don't see that side of him, so I'll just come off looking like a jerk.

Do you think he's a psychopath? What can I do to get him to leave me alone that won't make me look bad at work?
