My family doesn't like the Marine because they consider him useless. They have arranged me to date a family friend, who is a very successful surgeon. Thing is, the Marine and I have been dating for a year. We are going steady and he is anticipating marriage and kids. He is committed to me, and very kind, caring and loving. He is willing to compromise and is protective of me. We have a lot in common too. He says he has never fallen so hard for anyone but me and he has planned out our marriage. But lately, he is cocky, loud, talks about his job, becamr patriotic and brags about being the best of the best. I find this extremely irritating. Should I ditch him for the doctor? I bet the doctor is more humble, classy and kind.
