So imagine some stranger reached out to you in some way (email or facebook or something of that sort) either anonymously or is someone, who you have never or barely seen. This person sends you a message with clear evidence, that your partner has been cheating on you.
This person could be either the person, that your partner has had prohibited fun with OR it could be someone, who did not approve of what your partner was doing with someone else and cared about you knowing it.

What would you do (aside from obviously dumping your partner)?

I am asking this because some people actually tend to freak out and bash this stranger or block this stranger, who meant well, which I will never be able to understand I guess.
