I thought I was over this guy, I really should be it's been 3 years since we've dated. But, I recently had a dream with him and I fooling around. The strange things was I was/am not really attracted to him. I became attracted to him, because of the way he treated me. I was starting to fall for him, which is why I asked him to be my boyfriend. He said no because he didn't seeing too far with us and honestly I didn't really eithier.

We only dated a few months, but it was the longest things I've ever had. I was upset when we ended things, he wasn't officially my boyfriend, but we were "exclusive." I didn't really know this at the time, but there was one summer that I was getting over him and did some stupid stuff. I think I was kinda hoping he'd stop me. I did also thinnk he was gonna realized he made a mistake and ask me to get back together with him. I thought this, because we were hanging out just about every single day and if I didn't see him he'd text or call me. (Part of the reason we hungout everyday was because we were on our college campus and there weren't many people around, but also we were just close) One night I was sitting on the couch and he was laying down and he put his head on my lap and said, " I miss this" and I said, "I miss this too." Probably a month later there were a few days that I hadn't heard from him. Then I foundout on Facebook that he got a girl friend. I was just about heart broken and cried like crazy.

I didn't hear from him for a while which makes sense, but sucked. Then during the school year we started hanging out some more. But we'd pretty much only hangout during the week or weekends his girlfriend didn't come up. We were still pretty close though, my friend would tease that I was pretty much his 2nd girlfriend. I thought that his relationship might not last too long if they didn't have sex. He takes sex pretty seriously so I knew that if that happened they would date for a while. One night we were drinking and he was kinda bragging to his guy friends about having sex with his girlfriend. I was kinda upset and drank a lot. I also didn't realize how many shots were in my glass. Anyway, I ended up making out with his roommate that night.I pretty much thought I was over him after that point.

A couple years later I did something kinda mean, but I think it was to push him away. I tried to be friends with his girlfriend but she was so shy and kinda snobby so I didn't end up becoming friends with her. Then I thought she said some rude comments (which my friend ended up telling me that it wasn't true) I told him that I didn't like her and we talked about it and was still trying to act civil towards her.

I'll try to keep this as brief as possible

1. he liked me in high school, we became best friends

2. we dated for 2 weeks, I was afraid to hurt the friendship, left him...

3. 5 years later he started acting like he liked me again

4. he tried to kiss me, I wasn't sure if he liked me or just wanted me so I backed away, he called me a "tease"

5. we talked a lot, I started to like him

6. over the following summer we stayed up all night talking, telling stories, watching the sun rise, giving each other massages, cuddling

7. I went back to school, he told me he just pretended to like me, he had just wanted me and it was subconscious revenge for not liking him in high school

8. he said we'd grown apart and that he just used me to bring himself up when he wanted a girlfriend, felt bad about himself

9. I told him we had to go our separate ways and I felt disrespected

10. now he keeps telling me how much he messed up, loves me, wants me in his life, that I'm a great friend etc

11. he hasn't really changed... (maybe a bit?) my friends say he's no different towards me than before. we argue about little things now. I feel angry when I look at him, but I haven't had a chance to talk to him because we're both really busy

12. I grew up, my expectations changed in what I want in a friend, he lied to me... I can't trust him, but I don't know what to do!

13. what should I do? everyone knows he's trying, EXCEPT me. I guess I am that mad at him. I feel betrayed

14. keep the friendship? let it die? let him keep trying? keep talking to him?
