So, before you start judging me, I am no doubt one of the most loyal, faithful females on the face of this Earth. Contacting this guy doesn't mean I'm plotting to initiate an affair or meet up and have some steamy, hot sex. It simply means that I think on a larger scale and I humbly realize that not contacting him, while the opportunity still exists, may be something I regret for the rest of my life.

There's no doubt in my mind that my current boyfriend will not be the man I marry and settle down with. Ya know how people say "You just know when they're the one"...well, I just know that he's not. My intuition is loud and clear that this man is not my life partner and I'm okay with that. Nonetheless, right now at this phase of my womanhood, I'm enjoying this relationship. This relationship is helping the both of us grow and learn in ways that we can not achieve on our own as one. I appreciate him as a man; the content of his character, the things he has made an effort to work on in our relationship, and the way he makes me feel. However, I am undeniably aware that there is no extended longevity in this pairing. I still would never, EVER cheat *I don't have it in me* and when guys hit on me, I'll be come a b*tch if that's what needs to be done to defend my man's honor and get it through to them.

Anyhow, a few years ago, I stumbled on what may have been one of the greatest romances of my life. It was an instant, magnetic connection like no other in my history to date. There was an effortless chemistry that I still have not achieved in my current relationship. : / To sum it up: it was a very remarkable, momentary experience that didn't progress due to miscommunication and bad timing. For three years, I stubbornly reserved a place for him in my heart despite his absence. We lost touch and I hoped and wished that we would find our way back to each other. Then my brilliant friend told me to just pull the phone records lol

Should I give him a call?

I just began a relationship... its very fresh... we have only known each other for a few months... but I like him, a lot. I don't have any REAL relationships under my belt & at 21 I'm hoping this can be one to mention. I wasn't really trying to be BF&GF so quickly but he started saying it & so i said you never asked me to be your girlfriend so he asked & i said yes.

but of course there is a problem: he takes hours to text back unless he initiates a convo... if i text him out of the blue i literally wait hours to hear back... I have a problem with this... i know everyone doesn't live with their phone in their palms like i do & when im around him he really doesn't pay attention to his cell.. but i feel like now that you have a Gf you would at least check your phone every 2-3 hours? as long as my bf makes me feel secure & i can trust him im not overly jealous.. but i just don't want to play the fool in this relationship.. this has happened 3-4 times where i text/call & i dont hear from him for hours he'll say he was hanging with his guys or that he was drinking or smoking or something & one there was another instance we bout a 3-pack of condoms and we didn't get to use it that day & a saw him a few days later & he "couldn't find it"... am I deluding myself by thinking he isn't cheating already? is it too early for me to be worried? we are already together so i can't back track & say its too soon for titles which it very well may be... what do i do now? i want to call him & say why the fuck does it take so long for you to respond? what did you really do with those condoms? but i dont have any real basis & i dont want to be the crazy gf accusing him of cheating this early on with no evidence... ADVICE PLEASE?

i do not get some guys. the guy i like ALWAYS responds back to me when i text him, but he NEVER initiates talking first. I get so annoyed that im the only one doing it. it kinda means i like him more oviously thats why im doing it. If he liked me a lot or was interested in me im sure he would start initiating too. Its nice of him to never ignore me at all, he is friendly. My previous crush i text him once & he never answered back, fully ignored me :(. he wasn't even friendly. worst all he was a family friend. that was last year & he never got back to me ever. at least my crush now texts back even if he doesn't start the convo. in the msgs, he puts smileys a lot , called me cutie but have a feeling he says it to lot of girls. he "liked" a lot of my fb pics & statuses. the last status he liked was "being single used to mean that nobody wanted you. Now it means you're pretty, sexy & you're taking your time deciding how you want your life to be and who you want to spend it with!". we talked about when we went to school, work, etc. I even asked him if he wants to hang out one day to go for a coffee. he said yes np he will let me know. which i doubt he will. i dont know why agree then :(. then he would always end the convo quick & say g2g ill message u later cutie but he never does. i dont know why say it then if you won't?

i know the best thing to do is back off, no more starting convos, liking his pics or statuses. i should see if he will chase me back. maybe he will think where did she go? she use to talk to me a lot . so i guess you can say he's sending me mixed signals. he should be the one to ask me out i know but i hinted so he won't feel rejected. im not sure if he's just shy & thats why he's not starting to talk but responds. If a guy likes you he should though. i told him to talk to me anytime he wants dont be shy. he said sorry & it sucks to be shy. I think he talks to tons of other girls, he has many on fb & his exes. He is single though.
