I'm a college junior and I consider myself to be relatively attractive. I'm outgoing, flirty, and I like to think, approachable (just to give you a clear picture). I'm currently speaking to a guy a year older than me. I consider him attractive and I'm pretty sure he feels the same. I have no interest in a relationship with him and I've made that very clear, and the feeling is mutual. Almost every time I speak to this guy, we end up making plans to hook up. Either, we plan to meet up, or for him to come over. And every single time, right when we're supposed to meet up, he ends up dissapearing and doesn't respond to my messages. Keep in mind, that when we flirt and our conversations start to get a little intense, he's always the one to suggest that we hook up. This has happened multiple times. We stopped speaking for about a month because I confronted him about the fact that he keeps dissapearing, and at the time he claimed that he was going through some family problems, so I gave him his space completely. We spoke again a while back, keeping in mind, that he initiated conversation, and yet again, the weekend in which we agreed to hook up, he went MIA. What I want to know is why does this guy do this? I know for a fact, that there's nothing particularly wrong with me. I also know that he's not in a relationship and I'm not the overbearing type or the overly loving type for him to be intimidated. I completely give him his space and we're barely even friends, but this cycle is becoming very irritating. Should I confront him about it?
