My friend Zoey and I don't have our licenses yet and depend on our parents or her aunt to take us places. Zoey and I are best friends and her aunt takes us places all the time. We even went on vacation with her aunt. Her aunt or parents have never met my parents. Zoey lives about 5 minutes away and comes over often. The wedding is August 20th and it's about 2 1/2 hours away. I don't have anything to wear to the wedding. I don't have any money to buy a wedding gift. I don't know how to even bring this up to my parents (they will probably think it's weird). I also think Zoeys parents and aunt think we are lesbian since we do everything together and she's gotten questioned on it and my parents questioned me on it because she came over when I was home alone a few weeks ago and my parents thought sexual things went on. Nothing happened like that and I have a boyfriend (parents don't know about yet). Zoey and I also went to prom together because we didn't have dates and I think everyone thought we were lesbians. I feel like it's weird to go the wedding because this is something a couple would do together and I am not her date! I am not with her period. I am her friend not her girlfriend. It's aggravating. There's also a girls day before the wedding and we are the two youngest people there and it's her family and I don't know. I'm sick of people thinking we are lesbians
