Okay so I asked another question earlier this summer. However, things have changed since then. I do encourage you to read the first question though because I don't feel like writing out the first part again. Anyway, this guy and I have gotten closer since the whole drama thing started. While he was still dating my friend, it seemed he was either with her, or hanging out with me. People always tell me, that it seems like he and I are more of a couple then he and my ex-friend (thing person) were. He seems protective over me, like sometimes I'll get drunk and he'll feel the need to stick around with me until I'm sober, even though I'm just goofy when I'm drunk not really hard to handle. He's always staring at me, and talking to me, and teasing me, and sitting next to me. He knows so much about me, because he pays so much attention. He told our mutual friend that he really loves me (not sure in which way), but he doesn't want to ruin it with a relationship because our friendship is so "amazing." I go to school up in Mass, and live in NY. He plans on moving to Seattle eventually.

I'm just confused, he originally said he didn't like me, and has been acting this way. He ended things with the ex-friend a couple of weeks ago, and said that she was too moody, and he mistook his feelings for her. I just want to know what's going on in his head. He's weirding me out.

He said it was just a drunk mistake, and the girl initiated it. He said he was very drunk and couldn't remember most of it.

Should I forgive him?
