We are friends so why does he stare into my eyes deeply?

Ok so I've known this guy now for nearly five months! We are friends, we shared an intimate moments ages ago. I'm with someone and he is kind off. I'm a barmaid, so I see him every weekend. He always does the stares looks away he get nervous and figets around me mumbles, I even think he said that he wanted me and I mistook it for water!! But he always at the end of the night takes another girl home the same girl thou. I mean maybe it is just drunken sex or wotever. The worst bit is we attract like magnets wherever he is in the room we drawn towards each other, he gives me feelings I've never felt before which scares me, he looks deep into my eyes whenever possible. I mean I don't know if he just coz he's drunk. But then he leaves with the other girl and it hurts. I don't know what to do. My someone is thinking about moving away with me and I'm scared I might regret not ever saying anything? Please help am I being stupid? Or is it natural to feel this way.

Honestly, maybe it's how he was raised. I know I was raised to always look people in the eyes when I'm talking to them. I was raised being told someone who can't look you in the eyes when they're talking to you is a dishonest person.

Lol no I meant I used to have a guy friend who did this to girls. It would be awkward because we'd be at restaraunts and he would stare a hole into the side of a girls head till she looked and then stare right into her eyes until she looked away then she would look at whoevers opposite him beside her like SAVE ME!

Are customers, off limits to bartenders/servers. The current girl I like is a server for a bar butttt I don't know because I know she's really probably just after tips and all
