- I recently developed feelings for one of my closest female friends and she replied "Idk, not really tryna do anything since i just broke up". (she got out of her first serious EVER relationship a month ago) Week later we got drunk and made out, she told me she doesn't regret the making out
- One time we were discussing drama about her and her best friend, and she said randomly: "I know ill always be friends with her, just like you and me. not saying we would never date or anything though"
- Everytime I bring up dating she keeps saying "I dont know". I eventually confronted her and said "Listen I promise things won't be awkward between us, i just want an honest answer. do you not like me like that?" and she replied "I'm telling the truth, its not that. its just that i dont know. i just can't commit right now"
- One weekend we got into a HUGE argument and didn't talk for 5 days. The next time we hung out I said "I bet i killed our chances of dating" and she replied "Eh probably not"
- One time i told her "You are so confusing. most girls just say any polite rejection" then i told her "You must feel something for me? you won't reject me for some reason" and she replied "i think you're over analyzing. i dont know what the future holds. if we date, then awesome. if not, then oh well. i just go with the flow in life"
- I noticed she doesn't really respond to my flirting either in person or text. She kinda just goes "oh okay". I then texted her one day (in regards to that) "Lately I just feel like I'm putting in a lot of effort for someone that's not really acknowledging my feelings at all" and she replied "At the moment yes. I acknowledge your feelings but I don't want anything right now"

I know i bugged her a little too much, i actually apologized to her for all the bugging pretty recently. So my questions are why does she kinda shrug off my flirting? And do i have a chance? some of the things she said make it seem like i do

Been best friends with her for about a year. she just got out of a relationship, her first serious major one ever. She STILL mopes and thinks about it from time to time.

I decided to stop bringing it up. We continued to hang as normal, i noticed she seems to feel hesitant about wanting to make out or cuddle again? This girl is seriously VERY neutral and I don't know what to do

I dont like giving lengthy back storys, so im just gonna list some detailed points in no particular order

-2 months ago she got out of her first serious relationship of 2 years. I've been friends with her for about a year now and we are BEST friends. and i had no romantic thoughts until like 2 weeks ago
-told her i liked her, she said "idk, not tryna do stuff right now since i just broke up and still thinking about it"
-we hung out like week after that, both of us got drunk and made out. asked her if she was cool with it and if she regrets it and she said "nah, i dont regret shit"
-we were talking one time about some drama between her and her friend of 12 years. i said to her "i know you're not gonna stop talking to her" and she replied "yeah you're right, i know me and her will always be friends. just like you and i. i know we'll always be friends, im not saying we'd never date or anything im just saying no matter what we'll always keep in touch"
-everytime i ask her about dating or anything similar, she always replies "i dont know"
-yesterday i hung with her and asked her up front "Listen please be honest, i promise things will not change. do you just not like me like that?" and she said "its not that at all. i just can't commit right now"

My main problem: I respect her life style, being tied down for 2 years definitely sucks and now she wants to be free and do whatever, but its hard to be JUST her hook up buddy/friend while she does it with whoever else she feels like (she's bi too). i'm actually debating telling her i can't hang with her because it's too hard to handle seeing her do stuff with whoever (and possibly end up dating someone else), but she's my best friend and i can't imagine life without her. also because she keeps NOT rejecting me so im not sure to keep hanging with her or not.
