Search Results: sex talk from my mom

Looking at responses to my other questions, I’m starting to wonder if I’m actually dating someone and not even know it! My one expertise in life has been relationships, since I’ve been in them for 10 years back to back, so being in one comes naturally to me and I normally know all of the signs. This guy has me totally confused tho! I’ll give you some facts, you tell me what you think this is…

1. He’s introduced me to his friends/roommate/sister and calls his mom/sisters on speakerphone in front of me all of the time and tells them about me while I’m there

2. He offered to come to my house, met my parents and chose to hang out with them and get to know them (I live with them) instead of just saying hi and leaving, he talked for hours! Then he drove me back to his house and back to mine in the morning (1.25 hrs away) because I asked and wanted to see him some more even tho it was late.

3. We go out to eat/drinks a lot (every weekend this month) since that’s what we do at our age. He always pays and picks places I like which is different from his normal hangouts.

4. We had sex 2x a few weeks ago (complicated things so I said I didn’t want to do it anymore. He agreed). We still make out once in a while. We cuddle, he massages my back, strokes my hair, kisses on cheeks.

5. He does small favors for me when we’re together and I ask, when normal friends wouldn’t.

6. I’ve been over his house a lot: he cooks me all 3 meals of whatever I like, he lets me borrow clothes, but freaked out when he noticed I didn’t pack up my toothbrush to go home yet!

7. Basically he is always trying to please me, he does this for others but not nearly as much and he has become much nicer to me. He is always complimenting himself and trying to make me laugh.

Reasons I don’t think he wants a relationship with me:

1. He talks about what girls want in a relationship and mentions things he wants that isn’t me

2. He’s always suggesting I hang out with his friends or says he’ll try to help me find a cute guy

3. During the week we don’t really talk, he’ll text me something random usually once a day or I will but it’s normally a neutral question. We don’t really talk unless we have a reason to.

He gives me mixed signals so IDK. Clearly he likes me, but I think he just might enjoy my company and not want a relationship with me. He only started dating/having sex a few years ago and he admits that he’s new to it and doesn’t know and doesn’t understand me. He’s a very outgoing goofy guy but has been more sensitive and open with me lately. Oh, and I've known him since college, 8 years ago, but just started talking again 8 months ago.
