I’m currently in Washington DC on a trip with my mom and friend. It’s been scorching hot outside (upper 90s and pure sunshine all week). There’s a world war 2 memorial pool that we and a lot of people like to stick their feet in (because everyone’s feet is burning). It says no wading which means walking out and when a cop rode by on his motorcycle he didn’t say anything to us about our feet being in the water. This random person who I don’t know added me on Snapchat and was yelling at me saying he knows where my hotel is (how my location is off and I never posted it), that we are super disrespectful to the monument, that he’s gonna tell the cops about how disrespectful we are to the monument and wants us arrested and all this crazy stuff and we better not go back to the memorial tomorrow. We have no idea who this guy is and he lives in DC or so he says. It’s super creepy because my Snapchat isn’t public. We wanted to go back to the memorial because tomorrow is our last day in DC but now we are scared too. We already went to all the Smithsonian’s and other memorials. Our flight leaves in Saturday. We have been here since Sunday. Again we never posted our hotel or pictures from it. It’s creepy and we are all freaked out. We don’t mean any disrespect to anyone who fought in the war, there is no pools open in DC or our hotel and it’s super hot and our feet hurt. We don’t keep our feet in the pool that long plus everyone was doing it.
