I'm honestly going for the supply shortages, especially oil and gas since Biden cut off our energy independence by ending the Keystone XL Pipeline. Printing more money is bad yes, but it only becomes a problem when more money is being used. A lot of the capital is just sitting in bank vaults, so velocity of money is low. Truthfully, some stimulus was needed to stop deflation, as people stopped buying goods and services in fear of uncertainty due to the 2020 lockdowns.

When inflation goes up, social security payment amounts increase. Every day there more on Social Security then the day before. It has been estimated that Social Security will go bust by 2030 and that was before this inflation surge.

I believe we will see 26% inflation. Some say it is really 13% and others say it is really 16% . We know the Government changed how they figure it by leaving out many items that Americans have to pay for. This is to have an artificial low inflation number so they don't have to raise Social Security payment amounts. Reagan put in the cost of living increases back when he was in office.

Now , how long could Social Security survive at 26% inflation?

Another good reason to buy gold and silver now to protect yourself.

Here is why I think it is not in good shape:
1) Gold is high at $1800 plus , usually gold is under $1000 when economy is good
2) Gov't is still buying assets
3) Gas at $3.15 to $5.00 a gallon. Usually gas is $1.25 to $1.95 in good times
4) Unemployment is really 22% , Gov't stops counting people. 6% is good
5) Wages are not going up and they increase 1.5 to 2% with good economy.
6) Velocity of money is lowest ever. That is when you get paid and you buy, then that guy b buys., then the net guy takes that money and buys and economy expands..
7) Banks are eliminating credit lines , they are increased in good times.
8) Record store closings and bankruptcies.
9) Mergers and take overs.
10) States are using universal payments to give people. Never done before
11) Gov't still handing out stimulus checks, this is stimulate economy , why would you need that in a good economy. Not in 1950's , 1980's, or 1990's
12) All time high debts with consumers , businesses and Gov't
13) All time high grocery prices
14) shortages of food and other items.
15) Inflation of 13% , that is the actual rate with all items figured in, not the gov't limited
items.
16) Interest rates are still near 0% and normal rate is 6% .

My Etsy sales have dropped off the cliff , and I was doing pretty well and others on Etsy have dropped also The the last two months will be my worse two. My business service is even down some and it never did in 2008 to 2011.

I lived through 1970's and 2008 to 2011 , and they were not like this. Probably more damage was done in 2008 -2009 than we really knew. .

Now what happens if we have another 911? Or if another housing crash? Or stock market crash? Print $100 Trillion out of thin air?

Bit coin is $29,000 less than half of its high. Many big names are getting out. It was supposed to be an hedge against inflation but has continued to tank. Proving it isn't. It was supposed to be untouchable but has been hacked.

Why should you sell?
1) It can be hacked in to and stolen (all ready happened)
2) Government is going to regulate it so it will be tightly controlled , so forget the $1 million per coin pipe dream
3) You can't Will it to anyone.
4) You can only trade it electronically , so power outage prevents you from using it.
5) Only 2000 businesses in US allow you to purchase their product ot service with it.
6) China, and many countries have banned its use.
7) US will make it illegal to use when they introduce their reset crypto currency. The US Gov't allows no competitors.
8) It is not a hedge to inflation
9) You don't really know how many there are in existence.
10) No insurance
11) If you paid less than $29,000 each, sell it and take your profit;

We are in a 1970's type inflation pattern. Gas will reach $4.50 a gallon easy. The prices above are average prices in US. California , Alaska, and Hawaii should reach $8.50 a gallon.

I predict 26% inflation from now 2021 to 2030. The next 9 years will be brutal. I also expect trillions and trillions of stimulus money over this time.

You will see a Covid type reaction with no one shopping stores.

The money printing isn't working and each time they print more money. Dollar is dropping. Retail sales are way down. We still have high first time filings for unemployment. Not many new jobs created. Gov't has so fouled up , that not even old jobs can be filled. New min wage looks like $20 an hour which means $10 Big Macs. Supply chain disruptions. Inflation like 1970"s. Crime at all time highs. Illegals flooding borders stealing valuable resources. US is heading for a death mull. We are having a slow death.

Stocks traded mostly higher on Friday in another record-setting session on Wall Street.

The S&P 500 edged higher to reach another all-time high. The blue-chip index was on track to end the week higher for a third straight week. The Dow gained, and the Nasdaq recovered earlier losses to trade in slightly positive territory.

Traders considered more reassurances from Federal Reserve Jerome Powell, who reiterated in remarks Wednesday that the Fed was looking for "actual progress" rather than "forecasts" for progress toward the central bank's employment and inflation goals. He also underscored the distance still left for the economy to go before reaching these targets and prompting a policy shift, with the recovery in the labor market especially still "uneven and incomplete" to date. A disappointing jobless claims report earlier on Thursday, with new claims unexpectedly climbing for a second straight week, appeared to affirm these sentiments.

Treasury yields have come back down as fears over a near-term Fed policy shift deflated, prompting investors to circle back to growth stocks and large-cap tech names in particular that would benefit from a lower-rate environment. Microsoft (MSFT), Alphabet (GOOGL) and Facebook (FB) each notched record intraday and closing highs during Thursday's session.

These moves back into tech stocks, however, have come at the expense of some of the cyclical and value names that had been outperforming earlier this year. The S&P energy and financials sectors have lagged over the past month, though they remain the two top outperforming sectors when looking back over 2021 to date.

You can't find them anywhere. I paid twice what I paid for the first one I owned. Everything is hard to find. Parts, mower, and other items. This is causing inflation. I checked everywhere and found 4 that would ship. Two sold before I bought mine. The price doubled in less than 8 years.
