Okay so, we've been best friends for about a year now. And we've grown very close. We spend all our time with one another and she's even admitted our friendship is different from any she's had with a female friend. One day we were at Hot Topic together and we find these cute little rings that are engraved with the phrase "partners in crime" and she expresses to me that she'd really like for us to get them. I didn't have money at the time but promised eventually to get them for us. Fast forward about five months and I'm about to get a steady job and I want to surprise her for our one year friendaversary. I'm thinking about picking out some plain bands and having them engraved so that she can actually wear her ring. I even jokingly asked her what her ring size was and sent her a picture of an engagement ring. Said I was gonna get it for her and her reply was that it was beautiful and I was super sweet. So I know her ring size, know what I wanna get. But I was thinking that, to deliver this special gift I would do a faux proposal. I want to pick her up and drive somewhere, hike up to a beautiful spot, get down on one knee and ask her as seriously as possible, to be my best friend for life and then show her the ring. I asked one of my other friends what they thought and they said to go for it. Keep in mind though that she has a serious boyfriend and while I do love her to death, this is just a friendly gesture, not that I want to marry her. So should I do it. Or is it a bit much?

I recently found I was moving this summer states away due to a family situation. My boyfriend and I have been talking about getting promise rings or bracelets for the meaning behind it. It's kind of reassurance to us that we will remain faithful and that distance won't put a damper on what we have as well as we hope to replace it with something permanent when we're older and financially stable.

That being said, I want to get a leather bracelet for each of us with a curved metal plate with the longitude and latitude of an event that is special to the both of us. Help me out?

Option #1: Where we first met. We actually met on Tinder so when we first met, we instantly knew that this was going to be so much more than just meeting someone you just text. It was the beginning of us. He always says he never believed in love at first sight until he met me for the first time in person and I couldn't agree more when I looked at him.

Option #2: Where we had our first kiss. We were just seeing each other at the time, not official, but we were both exclusively seeing each other for about a month now. When we had our first kiss, we felt sparks that we've never felt with anyone else. To this day, I still feel those sparks and he says he does as well.

Option #3: Where he asked me to be his girlfriend. Funny story with this one: We went to Fright Fest at Six Flags and we went through many haunted houses that night. On our last one, we got separated by a scarer (whatever they're called) and I just bolted while he strolled through laughing his ass off that I ran off. When we got out, we had fake blood splattered on our faces and in our hair and we both laughed. As a result, I made him give me a piggy back ride back to the car and he asked me to be his girlfriend on the way back.

My best friend has a new boyfriend and i totally hate him. he's a total piece of shit, and so disrespectful. he's really putting a strain on me and my best friends relationship. I've told her plenty of times i dont aprove. And yesterday, i told her that i was "Completely Disgusted." when he bought her a promise ring. So, what should i do?
