I believe in equal rights for women. So the fact that they are barred from such a thing is rather disturbing. Women have the right to vote, get an abortion, have sex with whom they please, etc. So why is it that they shy away from these few sanctums of "male exclusivity?" Single gendered sports. I know there are plenty of recreational leagues of co-ed sports, but what about the professionals? Why bother having an NBA and a WNBA a Men's and a Women's tennis?

Why not just combine them and let the best players of both gender in every sport play based on sheer prowess in the sport? Then the playing field would be completely equal. Yet as much as women want equal rights there are few and far between the females that I meet or can even find online that want to integrate men's and women's sports. Sure, there'd be around a 2:1 average of men to women in most sports by sheer physical capability, but hey, it's all based on how good they are compared to both genders and equality is everything right?

Now women in the military, more and more women demand equality in this once previously male-only sanctuary. I say sure thing. You want equality? You got it. If a male soldier is deemed physically unfit for combat right before a tour for drugs, drinking, lack of physical fitness etc. (basically everything that they choose to involve themselves in as an individual save freak accidents, amputation, etc.) they get slapped with a lovely article 15 and then get a court-martial for their negligence of duty. If a women gets pregnant right before that pesky tour to Iraq or right after her orders are made or god forbid during her tour abroad does she slapped with an article 15 or forced abortion? Of course not, why should women be forced to deal with their CHOICE of having unprotected sex or not being on birth control?

By the way, you know that little thing called the draft? Why don't women want into that one as well? Men can get 250k in fines, 5 years in jail, automatic loan denial among a slew of other charges if we don't register for the draft within a month of our 18th birthday. So if women want all the rights as men, why not take our obligations as well?

This is but a tiny sliver of the reverse sexism that is permeating our society. Now before you go and call me anti-feminist, sexist, etc. Please note that no single place in this piece have I said women should be denied anything that men are entitled to nor do I deny male sexism towards women on a multitude of levels; I simply would like to know if they want everything to be equal, why not take on the same responsibilities and consequences that men do in these specific fields?
