I met this guy online, then i shared my hangout id there we chatted a bit and he called me. He is a nerd doesn't likes to waste time in what average people do like watching series, lazing around. He told me about his exgf and everything. He even said he wanted his girlfriend back and told me to help and I said I will. He told me to meet him. After 2 days he said his gf's bday is coming up and he need to discuss something and lets meet. I said if its only about your girlfriend we can talk over call, he said meeting in person is different. We didn't chatted much for 2 days. Today i asked him is he chatting with me to forget about her girlfriend, to distract himself from his thoughts. He said no, if i wanted to forget about her i would have dated a beautiful smart girl instead. It hurted my pride 🙁

P. S:He once told me i am sincere and smart girl so he is talking to me, and he dont talk much to strangers cause its a waste of time. i only utilise my time doing productive stuffs

This guy & I have known each other for 8 years, he's known that I've had this crush on him for that time period too. He recently admitted that he's always felt the same and now wants to give a relationship a chance and that he's really sincere about it. But for the past week, almost two, he's been ignoring me. Is that a normal behavior for men?
