-2 months ago, sexted and texted a guy (I never sent nudes), seemed like we liked each other basically told me lots of things about his life, depression, family, school, sports, music, kinda paid attention to my life?
-found out he hits up many girls and for sexual convos and he said he was losing interest in me for a bit and not much sexual tension
-But he says he still interested and will basically talk to me at a later time
-Meanwhile, we hasn't texted each other in a week and he flirts with many other girls, makes it sexual and etc.

So I thought the guy I've been texting/sexting/flirting with and talking about life with for 2 months was just keeping me as "back up" or like trying to get nudes from me (even though he said he respected me not sending nudes.) We would just talk and have fun. Occasionally he saw pictures of me ad said I was Hot af and cute and stuff and we kinda sexted without pictures at times.
So I basically straight up told him I felt he was losing interest and what not. And he said this:
"sorry I just lost interest in you for a bit so I thought id take a bit of a break so I don't"
and I asked if he actually liked me to begin with or if things were just sexual, and if he still likes me, and he said this:
"I still have interest for you and yea lol there wasn't even that much sexual tension so yea I actually like you"
Does he actually like me?

So I've been talking to this guy fro almost 2 months now. When we started off, he seemed like a big fan of emojis. I know he thinks that emojis means nothing, but he uses them anyways. But just last week, we sexted and he barely used any emojis at all. But he still seems engaged in what I'm saying and calls me cute names and stuff, then just a day ago, he said he hasn't been feeling like texting and he says he think about me and stuff but no emojis. (But I know he replies to other people here and there) Should I take him seriously even when he's not using emojis because he actually doesn't feel like texting or is he losing interest in me?
