Bear with me on this, I know it's long:

1) Dated for a little over a month. He always texted first & initiated us hanging out. Things were going great but one night we discussed "us" (he initiated it) & both decided we were on the same page and wanted to go slow. He didn't seem to care to text me soon after that so I didn't bother making an effort. Figured he just wasn't interested.

2) Several months later he texts me and asks if we can hang out. I tell him it was direspectful to cut me out then ask for a date after so much time passed. He wants to make it up to me, so I agree for coffee during the day. Day of the meet, I don't hear from him. So by 7pm I text "I guess we're not hanging out"... his reply "what are you up to". Told him off for being a d****. No more contact after that.

CURRENT: At this point it has been a year and half since we dated. Got a message from him. He asks about us. I confront him. He apologizes for being a jerk and acknowledges screwing up. He says he was honestly falling in love with me and got scared. Says he knows it'd be easier to believe him if he said he met someone else or wasn't interested, but he stupidly had too much pride. Then proceeded to list every little quirk he loved about me. He also asked if I thought I loved him too. I told him I didn't know. It was sweet until he suggested us getting drunk together sometime. I told him it was the worst idea ever and that I wouldn't. Near the end of the conversation it got too sexual with the "memories" so I told him we couldn't talk about that stuff anymore. He says he isn't looking to get back together just have his side heard.

What do you think?

To start of we are in college & I am 2 years older than him, I normally date older guys so even crushing on a younger guy is weird. I would like to think I am fairly attractive, normally I feel like I am getting almost constant attention from guys so I guess I am confused why he isn't.

The first time I meet him was through friends on a weekend trip & he would like stare at me & sit by me but wouldn't talk much even though all of his friends were talking to me. He did hit on me once straight out but honestly I shot him down a little because he is younger.

our paths don't cross much but he normally goes out of his way to say hi and get my attention but then doesn't like really have a conversation with me!

This last weekend we were at a party & I was fairly drunk & decided that I wanted to make-out with him. He joined me downstairs & we ended up talking/flirting & he literally did the whole hair behind my ear thing then left his hand on my face looking into my eyes & didn't do anything! Finally I was like screw this I'll make a move, so I did & then after he told me that he didn't make a move because he was intimidated. Also he wanted to actually talk about his family & other stuff. He ended up walking me home & was super concerned about me being cold.

That was 3 days ago & he still hasn't said anything to me and I'm like why don't you like me?
