My best friend is 23. This coworker of his is around our age. He told me how since the first day of work she started conversations with him about stuff and he enjoyed it the friendly conversation. She trained him and also they worked together. They work the night shift at Target. He started working at Target about 6 weeks ago and about three weeks ago at the end of work she asked him if he would be ok with picking her up from her home the next time they go to work since her car is being fixed and if they can carpool together since she doesn't have a ride. She also told him that if she doesn't get a ride she would have to come on her bike to work. She doesn't live close to the Target. My best friend made up an excuse about how he can't do that. He was nice to her about it.(My best friend isn't a bad guy, he is really nice). She seemed to not be upset at him after he told her he can't but she obviously was because at the next day of work she talked very little to him and weeks have passed by and she is still talking very little to him. He told me the true reasons why he didn't give her a ride is because he doesn't like having passengers in his car because if an accident happens and the passenger gets hurt, he would feel responsible for the person being injured (he would feel guilty) even though if the accident wasn't his fault. Also, he doesn't want to wake up like thirty minutes earlier than usual to pick her up since it is already a hastle waking up really early for the night shift. She lives like twenty minutes away from the target. He lives 10 minutes away just by going by street. Another reason is (although it isn't the main reasons). is that his car is not good. Everytime he drives to work he risks it breaking down in the middle of the road, but he risks this, since this has to do with work. She wasn't asking him to give her a ride every single time from now on. She just asked him if he can do it for that one day since her car was being fixed but he is afraid that she will keep asking him for rides in the future if she needs them in the future.

Does she like me if she doesn't know me and gets nervous whenever she sees me?

A couple of days ago I decided to start a conversation as we had lots of eye contact. When college was over and she was leaving with her friends (there were lots of people there), I was walking ahead of her, so I stopped, turned around, looked at her (she was looking at me and was nervous) and as she came closer and slowed down a bit, I asked her "Excuse me, are you from B. Com (wild guess)?", to which she replied "no" and walked away (she barely stopped). Later I found out she had to reach a point to meet her friends. Since then we just had eye contact once while I was going to one of my classes. I think I screwed up. And people tend to get nervous around me. Please help me.

She likes me and I like her... we started chatting recently... she came up to me in presence of mr. X (lets say the guy X)... while X was sitting in the class... she came up to me and sat with me for whole class and introduced herself and we exchanged mails...

Now since the starting of semester... this girl and i knew we like each other and we used to lock eyes but none of us initiated the conversation...
there is this other guy X... who started sitting with her and they both used to talk normally...
But i know that X liked her more than a friend... and she also talks to him very nicely... and happily...
i used to think that they are in relation so i did not make moves on her... but she kept chasing me in the hallways in the breaks and started stalking me... showing me that she likes me...
then i stopped going college for few days and my friends told me they got very close...
when i returened... she maintained distance with that guy...

But 2 incidents created doubts in my mind...-
------ 1st incident -
1. During break.. when i went outside my friends to play...
She came up to him in breaks and sat with him and they talked for about 5 minutes... and then she excused herself and stalked me in the sidelines... then they did not talk for entire day... and my friends told me too... that they dont talk much now maybe because im there...

------ 2nd Incident
One day... when i offered her juice.. she accepted it...
but just after that guy X came...
1. *first, he offered handshake with me and then with her*
2. she did not seem happy seeing him coming near us. she did not even welcome him smilingly.
3. i stood up and was going... she said thnx for juice to me.. i said welcome and i went 2 rows back but i was still watching.
4. she brought some books out and started asking doubts from him but again no smiling.
5. then she said excuse me and left... and then the guy went in front of the class wher
