This question looks at how men and women select mates/life partners.

Now, let say you have 2 people:

1. Person A: They are pretty much would be considered an ideal perfect partner on paper. They are considered attractive, good person who will treat you well, rich, smart, funny, ambitious, and good conversationalist. However, they don't give you butterflies or that intense passionate feeling of love.
2. Person B: They are not what you would consider an ideal partner and have their faults. You find them attractive, they are somewhat smart, and have their occasion of being funny. You enjoy talking to them sometime but they can get on your nerves other times. They treat you ok, with moments where you guys get into heated arguments. They come from a middle class background and make about 75 k a year with nothing spectacular about them. However, you have butterflies/tingles for them.
Would you pick the partner who appears to be near perfect even though they don't give you tingles and eventually learn to love them or pick the partner who is ok and who makes you feel butterflies?
