I'm speaking generally here, do you believe there's anything people with severe mental illnesses can do to feel better? I have severe progressive chronic treatment resistant depression and I've tried literally everything short of all out brain surgery which the insurance would never cover and i can never afford.

From bipolar to seizures were do you personally draw the line or does it depend on the person specifically.
Assuming they are getting treatment and help.

Many people don't have the spiritual maturity to understand how each works and struggle at telling the difference.

I think 85% of the time, a person has a mental illness but it can be dangerous to rule out it could be demon possession. If your priest rules out demon possession, it may be mental illness.

Which are better at spotting differences: exorcists or doctors?

Do you think casting out demons needs to make a comeback in mainstream society or does it deserve scrunity and mockery? Or both? Of neither?
