I need some quick advice... my dad is in the last stages of pancreatic cancer and only has a few days left. We aren’t hugely close but have always made an effort to stay in contact and up to date, he’s named me as executor in his will and I’ve paid for his funeral arrangements for when the time comes.

Now he has a long term girlfriend that has cared for him throughout the last 12 months of his illness, I live 5 hours away so have only visited regularly and contributed financially.
I only want two things from his house after he passes... a large, framed photo of my dad that my mum took of him in the 80’s when they first got together and a dog statue she gave him when I was born. Everything else is the girlfriends.
She wants to keep the photo and he is too unwell and doesn’t want to argue with her (she is VERY difficult to deal with). When I said I wanted the photo 6 months ago he was in support of that.
I want to respect his wishes but at the same time I don’t think I’m being unreasonable. I’m more than happy to have an identical copy made and framed for her, but the sentimental value is quite high for me on the original.

Would you push taking the photo as executor- even if it’s after he passes? Or let it go?

In a dating context (or a friend context I guess) which of these two kinds of people would you tend to find more interesting?

Person 1: Someone who is extremely passionate about one particular subject area, which could be anything from astrobiology to interpretative dance, and is excited to answer questions about it, but doesn't have many interests outside that area.

Person 2: Someone who has many different areas of interests, knows a "little bit of everything," and can converse about anything from geopolitics to scientific discoveries to local hot-dog places, but doesn't have one specific area that they really focus on.

okay guys, so I know that being a sugar baby is morally wrong and it's not the best way to make money but I'm jobless and right now if I had a job I wouldn't be able to afford bus fare for the first two weeks. With the little amount of money I have in going to the dentist but I really can't afford to even have transportation to work, school or college... If I did I wouldn't be considering looking for a sugar daddy to date. I had the offer from guys before and I turned it down because I always wanted to be self made and not dependent on other people but I wish I took it because how shitty does your life have to be that you can't even afford fucking bus passes for a week? If I date a rich guy I can be his girlfriend, we can travel together and he will love me just for being me. I know that I want to the girlfriend of s rich guy and I'm constantly worried about not pretty enough since I can't afford to buy makeup and most of my nice clothes are hand me downs from my older sister... I don't have no one to turn to and I feel stuck... Plus I'm so lonely all the I actually started talking to dogs like they are human. Is it wrong for me to try to find a sugar daddy and date one just because I'm broke, lonely and depressed?
