Search Results: low self worth boyfriend

I've been working out for about a year now and have lost a little weight, gotten a bit healthier and started feeling a bit better about myself. But I still find myself struggling to look in the mirror without saying "Man I'm gross". I have days that I can't even bring myself to eat because I feel like I'm not worth it, or I go to the mall with a friend and can't buy anything for the same reason. Friends and family obviously say things like "You're not gross", "You're pretty", and whatnot, but I always feel like they're saying that because they have to.

I've never really had a serious boyfriend (a few that just took advantage of my low self esteem, never really cared), and to the best of my knowledge, no one has ever found me attractive (unless you count liking my boobs, which I don't).

Anybody else have this problem? Had this problem in the past? Can anybody tell me how to make it better? I know it can't be solved with a quick fix, but I'm not sure if I'm going in the right direction.

Not fishing for compliments, just looking for advice on how to view myself in a better light. Any help is appreciated, please no a**holes just picking on the easy target. Thanks.
